Leanne James, a senior leadership development and workforce transformation professional who is dedicated to helping organizations, managers and individuals reach their strategic professional development goals has been Weber Shandwick Canada’s Director of Human Resources since 2018.
Leanne combines a passion for engaging individuals and teams to learn more about themselves and how they work best together. Leanne works collaboratively with organizations and individuals to help them realize their strategic objectives.
Leanne is a highly skilled facilitator, trainer and coach who brings an innovative and integrated approach to expanding workforce potential, optimizing employee performance, and enhancing organizational culture and strategy. She leverages more than 20 years’ experience working with a diverse range of enterprise and individual partners. Leanne focuses her expertise in team and leadership development, change management and results-oriented coaching to deliver programs and resources that drive business growth.
Leanne is certified by Adler International in the Foundations of Coaching and Coaching in the Context of the Workplace Coaching, in Change Management and holds certification in The Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (Steps I and II). She has completed Using Type to Optimize Leadership and Using Type to Navigate Conflict, two of the MBTI Master Class courses. She offers her clients unique, proven strategies that transform leadership, deepen employee engagement, and build high-performance teams and cultures.
Leanne was instrumental to building the mentoring program and moderating discussions across Canada during her tenure at the Women’s Executive Network.
Leanne has previously worked at APEX and OmniComm. In February 2020, the Canadian Centre for Diversity and Inclusion appointed Leanne as a board member to continue to promote diversity and inclusion, human rights and equity within the workplace.
