Weber Shandwick’s Toronto or Montreal offices have an opportunity for a proven Integrated Media Communications professional to join our team as a Senior Manager in our healthcare and corporate groups.

Ideal candidates have at least 5-7 years of agency experience and are motivated, proactive team players who are strong in account management, content development and creative thinking. The Senior Manager serves as a primary day-to-day client contact and manages projects across multiple clients, efficiently servicing each of these accounts simultaneously. He/she possesses a thorough understanding of the client’s business, industry, and issues and serves as a trusted strategic counselor to senior clients.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

  • Lead all aspects of a client portfolio from planning to execution including:
    • Client relationship building and exchange
    • Project management
    • Budgeting and billing
    • Program delivery:
      • Message development
      • Event planning and management
      • Brand reputation management
      • Stakeholder communications and influencer outreach
  • Provide strategic media counsel and thought leadership
  • Collaborate with internal agency staff to develop and execute strategy and ensure client deliverables are being met
  • Work closely with account leaders to support online research, measurement, and reporting
  • Support the new business development process
  • Generate new ideas and opportunities to ensure client program success


  • Fully bilingual (English/French)
  • Bachelor’s degree Marketing, Communications, or Science
  • 5+ years of agency experience with focus on corporate/health brands and pharma industry
  • Candidate should possess a thorough command of the social media and digital world, including a firm understanding of the current regulatory environment for pharmaceutical companies
  • Strong project management skills
  • Experience in communications with healthcare professionals (asset)
  • Experience developing relationships with third party organizations (PAGs), healthcare professionals and caregivers, and to attend external meetings and events representing the agency and medical (medical conferences, third party, events, etc.)
  • Knowledge of Canada’s regulatory environment and experiences as it relates to health-related products (PAAB, ASC, Health Canada)
