Known for her ability to win clients over and her relentless pursuit of exceptional results, Melissa is a Senior Vice President, Client Experience at Weber Shandwick specializing in consumer and consumer tech brands.
She leads cross-functional teams across some of the world’s most iconic brands such as McDonald’s Canada, where she led the company’s response to the COVID-19 crisis and oversees the country’s largest brand influencer program.
Melissa is scrappy and knows what it takes to build an effective team and create a dynamic culture that drives results—and how to have fun while doing it! With a more than 16-year track record of winning success, Melissa has led her to teams to victory with over 20 industry awards in the last year alone.
Melissa has spent her entire career agency-side. Prior to Weber Shandwick, she spent 13 years at Edelman Canada where she was responsible for the strategic oversight and program implementation of marquee brands such as eBay, Expedia.ca Red Bull, Starbucks, Petro-Canada’s 2010 Olympic Program and Labatt.
Melissa holds a BAH in sociology from Queen’s University and a post-graduate certificate in Public Relations from Humber College.
